Warm-Season Turf Collection

We are the custodian of Australia’s Warm-Season Turf Genetic Resource Centre (GRC) which contains some 200 varieties turfgrass. The living library is arguably the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere comprising of 15 genus and 27 species of turfgrass. The turf collection is used for research and educational purposes and provides a testing centre for international organisations wanting to import, compare and register new turfgrasses in Australia.
