Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) have engaged Australian Sports Turf Consultants (ASTC) to undertake site investigations and soil nutritional testing to assist in the preparation of technical sports turf specifications for the redevelopment of Bribie Island’s Number 1 Soccer Field.
The existing surface is a Cynodon hybrid variety called ‘TifSport‘ which has not handled the “conditions”. TifSport is no longer commercially available in Australia.

- Soil sampling to determine site and soil conditions

- Sports field development work
- Topsoil (soil blend) importation and soil amendments
- Turfgrass selection
- Establishment and maintenance over the 8 week consolidation period
During construction and consolidation:
- Quality control checks
- Analytical testing
- Sports field audit prior to handover of the field to Council
