A cut above the rest
ASTC is pleased to be partnering with the Brisbane Tigers. The Brisbane Tigers are located at Langlands Park in Coorparoo. The stadium, which has just completed Stage 1 of 2 redevelopment work, will soon have the capacity to seat nearly 4,500 people as part of the $10 million dollar plus redevelopment.
The ‘Wintergreen’ green couch surface is highly sought after as a training ground by NRL rugby league teams, including the QLD Maroons. Following the recent development, the NRLW Brisbane Broncos will be hosting fixtures at the facility and before long, other clubs will be knocking at the door to use its state-of-the-art facilities.
To kick of the partnership between ASTC and the Brisbane Tigers, ASTC were commissioned to undertake a sports field audit of the main field at Totally Workwear Stadium. ASTC Director Matt Roche said “we are proud to be supporting our local club and grass roots football. The ground is well regarded as one of the best in the Host Plus Club [Queensland’s premier Rugby League] competition and we are pleased to be able to provide assistance to the Club and the Ground Manager when needed. We are looking forward to not only providing support, but watching the Brisbane Tigers play at home.”
