Project Details
- Objective: To provide a six-hole short golf course suitable for use as training area for junior golfers and community members; and a short game practice facility for all golfers at Keperra Country Golf Club.
- Location: Keperra Country Golf Club, 44 Duggan St, Keperra QLD 4054.
- Timeframe: 1 November 2022 to 23 January 2023.
- Funding: Funding to undertake the works was allocated by the State of Queensland acting through the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport (Sport and Recreation) Active Gameday Projects Fund Field of Play Projects and Keperra Country Golf Club.
- Works: Following tendering, the Keperra Country Golf Club committee, awarded David Burrup Golf Course and Sports Turf Designs as the Contractor to construct the short course.
- Project Management: Australian Sports Turf Consultants (ASTC) provided project management services and reporting directly to Keperra Country Golf Club. ASTC worked with the chosen Contractor and the Golf Course Superintendent to complete the works and achieve a successful result for the funding contributors of this project.
