The Gold Coast Waterways Authority (GCWA) is committed to maximising public benefit in the areas of Doug Jennings Park and Moondarewa Spit.
As part of ongoing works to revitalise Doug Jennings Park, GCWA will be delivering crucial landscaping improvements to continue creating beautiful and relaxed spaces for visitors to enjoy.
The revitalisation project is being collaboratively lead by Tract and Engeny.
Services provided by ASTC
Site investigation work:
- Soil assessment and physical testing to determine site conditions
- Soil nutritional testing
- Agronomic assessment
- Recycled water nutritional testing
Designs and/or specifications for:
- Topsoil amelioration and improvements
- Imported topsoil specification
- Turfgrass selection
- Turf replacement specifications
- Establishment and maintenance
During construction and consolidation:
- Quality control checks in line with specified Hold and Witness Points
- Analytical testing of turfgrass related construction materials
- Provision of a turf maintenance plan for pre- and post events. This includes rectification work
