Australian Sports Turf Consultants (ASTC) were engaged by Brisbane City Council to provide independent sports turf consultancy services across four (4) of their recent sports field redevelopment projects. Field redevelopment works were conducted by two Principal Contractors being Twin View Turf (TVT) and Turf Irrigation Services (TIS).
ASTC provided the following services to BCC between December 2019 and May 2020:
- Attended site meetings;
- Irrigation inspections and audits;
- Subgrade inspections;
- Drainage inspections;
- Inspections during turfing and line planting of the different fields;
- Conducted routine inspections during the turf establishment period; and
- Provided reports detailing observations and recommendations.
