Project Details
A new sporting complex is being constructed in Rocklea. The sports complex will be developed in 2 stages. It will contain:
Stage 1
- A multi-use sports field comprising of a rugby field, soccer field and AFL pitch.
- Multi-use courts.
Stage 2
- An athletics track
- Two soccer fields
- Multi-use courts.

- Timeframe: 27 May 2022 to current
Services
Site investigation work:
- Soil testing to determine site conditions
- Soil nutritional testing
Designs and/or specifications for:
- Sports field construction works
- Topsoil (soil blend) importation
- Subsoil drainage
- Turfgrass
- Seed and turf on embankments
- Establishment and maintenance during the 12 week consolidations period
During construction and consolidation:
- Quality control checks in line with specified Hold and Witness Points
- Analytical testing
- Sports field audit prior to handover of the field to the client
- Provision of an annual sports turf maintenance plan
